Fine & Raw Chocolate

 
Today I received the most delectable raw chocolate bonbons that I have ever tasted in a long time. I ordered these treats from Fine & Raw Chocolate for them to be reviewed on Shiitake Blog. What great timing for their delivery as well. What else would you want in the mail when coming back home from running up and down steps!

To be honest, I think women are best at knowing their chocolates, but this is another story! So anyways, back to this story, with the chocolates in one hand and bills in the other I ran upstairs and opened the first box of bonbons. The packaging was gorgeous and 100% organic. I loved the inside of the box too, the bonbons were delicately wrapped in fine white paper. After unwrapping the lot I waited for Gabrielle to get home. Okay, I had one before she arrived. I just couldn’t resist and what else is more comforting than chocolate when opening bills! At this point I had to hide them from myself or else I would have finished the box. Now that would have been asking for trouble!

I like chocolate but These Bonbons were special, very rich and sensual. I could taste two or even three layers of flavor. The first was a very nice simple yet unctuous cocoa taste, a little bitter. Then the second layer was lightly salty and danced on your tongue all followed by a sweet, sweet finish. Wow! What a sensation for your palate. But wait, we went all out with a chocolate, lucuma and vanilla bar as well. Yes, It tastes as good as it sounds. Is never undone. Now faithful I am! I will always remember the sweet tastes of delight lingering in my mouth. I am charmed…
